Since 1988 trance music, vinyl record master, and DJ veteran Golden Boy Mike has headlined clubs internationally in Mexico and on both U.S. coasts from Florida, California, Hawaii, Las Vegas, Chicago, and everywhere in between playing on bills alongside other national touring DJ’s such as Ben Gold, Xijaro & Pitch, Paipy, Ollie (Warp Brothers), Micro, Simply Jeff, Mea, Derrick Thompson, DJ Irene, Thee-O, Alkaholiks, Speaker Junkies, Evil E, Funky Junction, Jane Vanderbilt, and Dj Keoki.

He has held residencies at all of his hometown San Diego’s largest clubs and has toured to Las Vegas regularly playing at clubs such as Seven, Shimmer Cabaret (Las Vegas Hilton), House of Blues (Mandalay Bay), Club Ra’, and Artisan.

His national following is steadily increasing as evidenced by TheDjList.com ranking him as high as the #1 DJ in San Diego, #92 Trance DJ in the world, and #63 DJ in the United States. His social media reach attracts a total global audience of well over 20,000 fans. He was named “DJ of the Month” by Kevlar Productions and won 1st Place in the Rock the Spot DJ Competition and 2nd Place in the President’s Day DJ Competition.

His DJ mixes have aired on radio stations in Chicago, San Diego, Canada, and the UK plus on several internet radio stations. He has released 15 mixtapes and 4 CD’s – “21” (2009), celebrating 21 years as a dj, “Escape”(2003), “Sweet Dreams” (2001), and “HiNRG” (2001), which are all available for purchase at MJS Records.

Golden Boy Mike’s studio work has led to original releases of “Angel’s Cry”, “Hover”, “Miami Nights”, and “Imminent Danger” on MJS Records. “Angel’s Cry” hit #4 on the tunes4djs.com Trance Chart in its first week of release. A sough after remixer, he has remixed 19 other songs for other artists such as Billboard charting Kim Cameron and Side FX’ “Never” and “Falling Stars” on the Side FX Partners label, “Summertime”, “Feels Like Love”, and “These Tears” by Billboard charting Raquela on the Raquela
Entertainment label, and “War” by Tee Green and “Love Shine A Light” by Steve Etherington for Sobel Nation Records. “War” charted on the Starfleet Music Pool at 39. His “Unconditional Love” remix for Billboard platinum selling artist KC & The Sunshine Band on Sunshine Sounds charted on the Starfleet Music Pool at #32. In 2005 he formed MJS Artist Management and opened MJS Records, an online store, specializing in trance records, which has now blossomed into a record label that debuted it’s first release in 2016. They are currently working with artists in the USA, UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Mexico, and Canada.

In 2020 he launched his Global Trance Session live stream and radio show, which was quickly syndicated in the U.S. on Sobel Nation Radio, Dance World Radio, and Rainbow Radio in New York, Atmospheric Sounds Radio in Texas, and on Impulse Radio in the UK. It is also on YouTube, Apple Music Podcasts, Castbox.fm, and Mixcloud, where 26 of episodes have hit #1 in Trance and the Top 10 on the 4 other charts. The show features Golden Boy Mike in on vinyl hour #1 and guests from around the world in hour #2 from countries such as the United States, UK, Greece, Italy, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, Taiwan, Mexico, Canada, and more while attracting listeners from multiple countries.
